27.  அதற்கு யோவாப்: இன்று காலமே நீர் பேசாதிருந்தீரானால் ஜனங்கள் அவரவர் தங்கள் சகோதரரைப் பின்தொடராமல் அப்பொழுதே திரும்பிவிடுவார்கள் என்று தேவனுடைய ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றான்.

27.  And Joab said, As God liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.
