7.  அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் சாமுவேலை நோக்கி: ஜனங்கள் உன்னிடத்தில் சொல்வதெல்லாவற்றிலும் அவர்கள் சொல்லைக் கேள்; அவர்கள் உன்னைத் தள்ளவில்லை, நான் அவர்களை ஆளாதபடிக்கு, என்னைத் தான் தள்ளினார்கள்.

7.  And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.
