34.  அப்பொழுது பிலேயாம் கர்த்தருடைய தூதனை நோக்கி: நான் பாவஞ்செய்தேன்; வழியிலே நீர் எனக்கு எதிராக நிற்கிறதை அறியாதிருந்தேன்; இப்பொழுதும் உமது பார்வைக்கு இது தகாததாயிருக்குமானால், நான் திரும்பிப் போய்விடுகிறேன் என்றான்.

34.  And Balaam said unto the angel of the LORD, I have sinned; for I knew not that thou stoodest in the way against me: now therefore, if it displease thee, I will get me back again.
