23.  நீங்கள் அந்தத் தேசத்தில் வந்து, புசிக்கத்தக்க கனிகளைத் தருகிற பலவித மரங்களை நாட்டினபின்பு, அவைகளின் கனிகளை விருத்தசேதனமில்லாதவைகளென்று எண்ணுவீர்களாக; மூன்று வருஷம் அது புசிக்கப்படாமல், விருத்தசேதனமில்லாததாய் உங்களுக்கு எண்ணப்படவேண்டும்.

23.  And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.
