27.  அதினால் கிதியோன் ஒரு எபோத்தை உண்டாக்கி, அதைத் தன் ஊரான ஒப்ராவிலே வைத்தான்; இஸ்ரவேலரெல்லாரும் அதைப் பின்பற்றிச் சோரம்போனார்கள்; அது கிதியோனுக்கும் அவன் வீட்டாருக்கும் கண்ணியாயிற்று.

27.  And Gideon made an ephod thereof, and put it in his city, even in Ophrah: and all Israel went thither a whoring after it: which thing became a snare unto Gideon, and to his house.
