39.  ஆகையால் இஸ்ரவேலர் யுத்தத்திலே பின்வாங்கினபோது, பென்யமீனர்: முந்தின யுத்தத்தில் நடந்ததுபோல, அவர்கள் நமக்கு முன்பாக முறிய அடிக்கப்படுகிறார்களே என்று சொல்லி, இஸ்ரவேலரில் ஏறக்குறைய முப்பதுபேரை வெட்டவும் கொல்லவும் தொடங்கினார்கள்.

39.  And when the men of Israel retired in the battle, Benjamin began to smite and kill of the men of Israel about thirty persons: for they said, Surely they are smitten down before us, as in the first battle.
