12.  பின்பு யெப்தா அம்மோன் புத்திரரின் ராஜாவினிடத்திற்கு ஸ்தானாபதிகளை அனுப்பி: நீ என் தேசத்தில் எனக்கு விரோதமாக யுத்தம்பண்ண வருகிறதற்கு, எனக்கும் உனக்கும் என்ன வழக்கு இருக்கிறது என்று கேட்கச்சொன்னான்.

12.  And Jephthah sent messengers unto the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What hast thou to do with me, that thou art come against me to fight in my land?
