4.  மனாசே எப்பீராயீம் என்னும் யோசேப்பின் புத்திரர் இரண்டு கோத்திரங்களானார்கள்; ஆதலால் அவர்கள் லேவியருக்குத் தேசத்திலே பங்குகொடாமல், குடியிருக்கும்படி பட்டணங்களையும், அவர்களுடைய ஆடுமாடுகள் முதலான சொத்துக்காக வெளிநிலங்களையுமாத்திரம் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்.

4.  For the children of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim: therefore they gave no part unto the Levites in the land, save cities to dwell in, with their suburbs for their cattle and for their substance.
