16.  நீங்கள் என்னைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை, நான் உங்களைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டேன்; நீங்கள் என் நாமத்தினாலே பிதாவைக் கேட்டுக்கொள்வது எதுவோ, அதை அவர் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கத்தக்கதாக நீங்கள் போய்க் கனிகொடுக்கும்படிக்கும், உங்கள் கனி நிலைத்திருக்கும்படிக்கும், நான் உங்களை ஏற்படுத்தினேன்.

16.  Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
