9.  இந்த நகரத்திலே தரிக்கிறவன் பட்டயத்தாலும், பஞ்சத்தாலும், கொள்ளைநோயாலும் சாவான்; உங்களை முற்றிக்கைபோடும் கல்தேயர் வசமாய்ப் புறப்பட்டுப்போய்விடுகிறவனோ பிழைப்பான்; அவன் பிராணன் அவனுக்குக் கிடைத்த கொள்ளைப்பொருளைப்போல் இருக்கும்.

9.  He that abideth in this city shall die by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goeth out, and falleth to the Chaldeans that besiege you, he shall live, and his life shall be unto him for a prey.
