7.  யோசேப்பு அவர்களைப் பார்த்து, தன் சகோதரர் என்று அறிந்துகொண்டான்; அறிந்தும் அறியாதவன்போலக் கடினமாய் அவர்களோடே பேசி: நீங்கள் எங்கேயிருந்து வந்தீர்கள் என்று கேட்டான்; அதற்கு அவர்கள்: கானான் தேசத்திலிருந்து தானியம் கொள்ள வந்தோம் என்றார்கள்.

7.  And Joseph saw his brethren, and he knew them, but made himself strange unto them, and spake roughly unto them; and he said unto them, Whence come ye? And they said, From the land of Canaan to buy food.
