9.  பின்னும் தேவன் ஆபிரகாமை நோக்கி: இப்பொழுது நீயும், உனக்குப் பின் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக வரும் உன் சந்ததியும், என் உடன்படிக்கையைக் கைக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.

9.  And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
