12.  ஜாதிகளில் வல்லவராகிய அந்நியதேசத்தார் அதை வெட்டிப்போட்டு, விட்டுப்போனார்கள்; அதின் கொப்புகள் மலைகளின்மேலும் சகல பள்ளத்தாக்குகளிலும் விழுந்தன; அதின் கிளைகள் தேசத்தினுடைய எல்லா ஆள்களினருகே முறிந்தன; பூமியிலுள்ள ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் அதின் நிழலைவிட்டுக் கலைந்துபோனார்கள்.

12.  And strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.
