17.  அப்படியே செய்தார்கள்; ஆரோன் தன் கையிலிருந்த தன் கோலை நீட்டி, பூமியின் புழுதியின்மேல் அடித்தான்; அப்பொழுது அது மனிதர் மேலும் மிருக ஜீவன்கள் மேலும் பேன்களாய் எகிப்து தேசமெங்கும் பூமியின் புழுதியெல்லாம் பேன்களாயிற்று.

17.  And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.
