8.  அவர்களுக்கு நான் விதித்த வழியை அவர்கள் சீக்கிரமாய் விட்டு விலகினார்கள்; அவர்கள் தங்களுக்கு ஒரு கன்றுக்குட்டியை வார்ப்பித்து, அதைப் பணிந்துகொண்டு, அதற்குப் பலியிட்டு: இஸ்ரவேலரே, உங்களை எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து அழைத்துக்கொண்டுவந்த உங்கள் தெய்வங்கள் இவைகளே என்று சொன்னார்கள் என்றார்.

8.  They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
