17.  அது என்றைக்கும் எனக்கும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கும் அடையாளமாயிருக்கும்; ஆறுநாளைக்குள்ளே கர்த்தர் வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் உண்டாக்கி, ஏழாம் நாளிலே ஓய்ந்திருந்து பூரித்தார் என்றார்.

17.  It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
