7.  ஒருவன் பிறனுடைய வசத்தில் திரவியத்தையாவது, உடைமைகளையாவது அடைக்கலமாக வைத்திருக்கும்போது, அது அவன் வீட்டிலிருந்து திருடப்பட்டுப்போனால், திருடன் அகப்பட்டானாகில், அவன் அதற்கு இரட்டிப்பாகக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.

7.  If a man shall deliver unto his neighbor money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man's house; if the thief be found, let him pay double.
