14.  ஒருவன் பிறனிடத்தில் எதையாகிலும் இரவலாக வாங்கினதுண்டானால், அதற்கு உடையவன்கூட இராதபோது, அது சேதப்பட்டாலும், செத்துப்போனாலும், அவன் அதற்கு உத்தரவாதம் பண்ணவேண்டும்.

14.  And if a man borrow ought of his neighbor, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof being not with it, he shall surely make it good.
