5.  அப்பொழுது பார்வோனுடைய குமாரத்தி நதியில் ஸ்நானம்பண்ண வந்தாள். அவளுடைய தாதிகள் நதியோரத்தில் உலாவினார்கள்; அவள் நாணலுக்குள்ளே இருக்கிற பெட்டியைக் கண்டு, தன் தாதியை அனுப்பி அதைக் கொண்டு வரும்படி செய்தாள்.

5.  And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river; and her maidens walked along by the river's side; and when she saw the ark among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it.
