39.  எகிப்திலிருந்து அவர்கள் கொண்டுவந்த பிசைந்தமாவைப் புளிப்பில்லா அப்பங்களாகச் சுட்டார்கள்; அவர்கள் எகிப்தில் தரிக்கக் கூடாமல் துரத்திவிடப்பட்டதினால், அது புளியாதிருந்தது; அவர்கள் தங்களுக்கு வழிக்கென்று ஒன்றும் ஆயத்தம்பண்ணவில்லை.

39.  And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.
