48. பின்பு ராஜா தானியேலைப் பெரியவனாக்கி, அவனுக்கு அநேகம் சிறந்த வெகுமதிகளைக் கொடுத்து, அவனை பாபிலோன் மாகாணம் முழுதுக்கும் அதிபதியாகவும், பாபிலோனிலுள்ள சகல ஞானிகளின் பிரதான அதிகாரியாகவும் நியமித்தான்.
48. Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.
