14.  அப்பொழுது அவன்: நம்முடைய முன்னோர்களின் தேவனுடைய திருவுளத்தை நீ அறியவும், நீதிபரரைத் தரிசிக்கவும், அவருடைய திருவாய்மொழியைக்கேட்கவும், அவர் உன்னை முன்னமே தெரிந்துகொண்டார்.

14.  And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.
