8.  ஆகையால் நம்முடைய கர்த்தரைப்பற்றிய சாட்சியைக்குறித்தாவது, அவர்நிமித்தம் கட்டப்பட்டிருக்கிற என்னைக்குறித்தாவது, நீ வெட்கப்படாமல், தேவவல்லமைக்கேற்றபடி சுவிசேஷத்திற்காக என்னோடேகூடத் தீங்கநுபவி.

8.  Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
