6.  தேசத்திலே குடியிருக்கிற எபூசியர்மேல் யுத்தம்பண்ண ராஜாவானவன் தன் மனுஷரோடேகூட எருசலேமுக்குப் போனான் அவர்கள்: இதிலே பிரவேசிக்க தாவீதினால் கூடாது என்று எண்ணி, தாவீதை நோக்கி: நீ இதற்குள் பிரவேசிப்பதில்லை; குருடரும் சப்பாணிகளும் உன்னைத் தடுப்பார்கள் என்று சொன்னார்கள்.

6.  And the king and his men went to Jerusalem unto the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land: which spake unto David, saying, Except thou take away the blind and the lame, thou shalt not come in hither: thinking, David cannot come in hither.
