8.  மேலும் ஊசாய்: உம்முடைய தகப்பனும் அவன் மனுஷரும் பலசாலிகள் என்றும், வெளியிலே குட்டிகளைப் பறிகொடுத்த கரடியைப்போல மனமெரிகிறவர்கள் என்றும் நீர் அறிவீர்; உம்முடைய தகப்பன் யுத்தவீரனுமாயிருக்கிறார்; அவர் இராக்காலத்தில் ஜனங்களோடே தங்கமாட்டார்.

8.  For, said Hushai, thou knowest thy father and his men, that they be mighty men, and they be chafed in their minds, as a bear robbed of her whelps in the field: and thy father is a man of war, and will not lodge with the people.
