3.  நாலாம் மாதம் ஒன்பதாந்தேதியிலே பஞ்சம் நகரத்திலே அதிகரித்து, தேசத்தின் ஜனத்திற்கு ஆகாரம் இல்லாமற்போயிற்று; நகரத்தின் மதிலில் திறப்பு கண்டது.

3.  And on the ninth day of the fourth month the famine prevailed in the city, and there was no bread for the people of the land.
