24.  அப்பொழுது கெதலியா அவர்களுக்கும்; அவர்கள் மனுஷருக்கும் ஆணையிட்டு: நீங்கள் கல்தேயரைச் சேவிக்கப் பயப்படவேண்டாம்; தேசத்திலிருந்து பாபிலோன் ராஜாவைச் சேவியுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது உங்களுக்கு நன்மை உண்டாகும் என்றான்.

24.  And Gedaliah sware to them, and to their men, and said unto them, Fear not to be the servants of the Chaldees: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon; and it shall be well with you.
