6.  பின்பு எலியா அவனை நோக்கி: நீ இங்கே இரு; கர்த்தர் என்னை யோர்தானுக்கு அனுப்புகிறார் என்றான். அதற்கு அவன்: நான் உம்மை விடுகிறதில்லை என்று கர்த்தருடைய ஜீவனையும் உம்முடைய ஜீவனையும்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றான்; அப்படியே இருவரும் போனார்கள்.

6.  And Elijah said unto him, Tarry, I pray thee, here; for the LORD hath sent me to Jordan. And he said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on.
