8.  ஆதலால் நான் நிருபத்தினாலே உங்களைத் துக்கப்படுத்தியிருந்தும், அந்த நிருபம் கொஞ்சப்பொழுதாகிலும் உங்களைத் துக்கப்படுத்தினதென்று கண்டு நான் மனஸ்தாபப்பட்டிருந்தும், இப்பொழுது மனஸ்தாபப்படுகிறதில்லை.

8.  For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season.
