1.  எருசலேமின் குடிகள், அவன் இளையகுமாரனாகிய அகசியாவை அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவாக்கினார்கள்; அரபியரோடே கூடவந்து பாளயமிறங்கினதை தண்டிலிருந்தவர்கள் மூத்தகுமாரரையெல்லாம் கொன்றுபோட்டார்கள்; இவ்விதமாய் அகசியா என்னும் யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய யோராமின் குமாரன் அரசாண்டான்.

1.  And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah his youngest son king in his stead: for the band of men that came with the Arabians to the camp had slain all the eldest. So Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned.
