9.  சகோதரரே, நாங்கள் பட்ட பிரயாசமும் வருத்தமும் உங்களுக்கு ஞாபகமாயிருக்கும்; உங்களில் ஒருவனுக்கும் பாரமாயிராதபடிக்கு, இரவும் பகலும் நாங்கள் வேலைசெய்து, தேவனுடைய சுவிசேஷத்தை உங்களிடத்தில் பிரசங்சித்தோம்.

9.  For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.
