9. அப்பொழுது சாமுவேல் பால்குடிக்கிற ஒரு ஆட்டுக்குட்டியைப் பிடித்து, அதைக் கர்த்தருக்குச் சர்வாங்க தகனபலியாகச் செலுத்தி, இஸ்ரவேலுக்காகக் கர்த்தரை நோக்கி வேண்டிக்கொண்டான்; கர்த்தர் அவனுக்கு மறுமொழி அருளிச் செய்தார்.
9. And Samuel took a sucking lamb, and offered it for a burnt offering wholly unto the LORD: and Samuel cried unto the LORD for Israel; and the LORD heard him.
