5.  பின்பு தாவீது எழுந்து, சவுல் பாளயமிறங்கின இடத்திற்குப் போய், சவுலும் நேரின் குமாரனாகிய அப்னேர் என்னும் அவன் படைத்தலைவனும் படுத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிற இடத்தைப் பார்த்தான்; சவுல் இரதங்களிருக்கிற இடத்திலே படுத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தான்; ஜனங்கள் அவனைச் சுற்றிலும் பாளயமிறங்கியிருந்தார்கள்.

5.  And David arose, and came to the place where Saul had pitched: and David beheld the place where Saul lay, and Abner the son of Ner, the captain of his host: and Saul lay in the trench, and the people pitched round about him.
