8.  ஆகையால் உம்முடைய அடியானுக்குத் தயைசெய்யவேண்டும்; கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக உம்முடைய அடியானோடே உடன்படிக்கை பண்ணியிருக்கிறீரே; என்னில் ஒரு அக்கிரமம் இருந்ததேயானால், நீரே என்னைக் கொன்றுபோடும்; நீர் என்னை உம்முடைய தகப்பனிடத்துக்குக் கொண்டுபோகவேண்டியது என்ன என்றான்.

8.  Therefore thou shalt deal kindly with thy servant; for thou hast brought thy servant into a covenant of the LORD with thee: notwithstanding, if there be in me iniquity, slay me thyself; for why shouldest thou bring me to thy father?
