6.  யோனத்தான் தன் ஆயுததாரியாகிய வாலிபனை நோக்கி: விருத்தசேதனம் இல்லாதவர்களுடைய அந்தத் தாணையத்திற்குப் போவோம் வா; ஒருவேளை கர்த்தர் நமக்காக ஒரு காரியம் செய்வார்; அநேகம்பேரைக் கொண்டாகிலும், கொஞ்சம் பேரைக் கொண்டாகிலும், ரட்சிக்கக் கர்த்தருக்குத் தடையில்லை என்றான்.

6.  And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armor, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the LORD will work for us: for there is no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few.
