22.  ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோன் தன் தாயாருக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: நீர் சூனேம் ஊராளாகிய அபிஷாகை அதோனியாவுக்குக் கேட்பானேன்? அப்படியானால் ராஜ்யபாரத்தையும் அவனுக்குக் கேளும்; அவன் எனக்கு மூத்த சகோதரன்; அவனுக்கும் ஆசாரியனாகிய அபியத்தாருக்கும் செருயாவின் குமாரன் யோவாபுக்குமே அதைக் கேளும் என்றான்.

22.  And king Solomon answered and said unto his mother, And why dost thou ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? ask for him the kingdom also; for he is mine elder brother; even for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah.
