17. ஞானஸ்நானத்தைக் கொடுக்கும்படி கிறிஸ்து என்னை அனுப்பவில்லை; சுவிசேஷத்தைப் பிரசங்கிக்கவே அனுப்பினார்; கிறிஸ்துவின் சிலுவை வீணாய்ப்போகாதபடிக்கு, சாதுரிய ஞானமில்லாமல் பிரசங்கிக்கவே அனுப்பினார்.
17. For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
