2.  சவுல் இன்னும் ராஜாவாயிருக்கும்போதே, நீர் இஸ்ரவேலை நடத்திக்கொண்டுபோய் நடத்திக்கொண்டுவருவீர்; என் ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலை நீர் மேய்த்து, என் ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் தலைவனாயிருப்பீர் என்று உம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உமக்குச் சொல்லியும் இருக்கிறார் என்றார்கள்.

2.  And moreover in time past, even when Saul was king, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD thy God said unto thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be ruler over my people Israel.
