55.  அந்த வேளையிலே இயேசு ஜனங்களை நோக்கி: கள்ளனைப் பிடிக்கப் புறப்படுகிறது போல, நீங்கள் பட்டயங்களையும் தடிகளையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு என்னைப் பிடிக்கவந்தீர்கள்; நான் தினந்தோறும் உங்கள் நடுவிலே உட்கார்ந்து தேவாலயத்தில் உபதேசம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டிருந்தேன்; அப்பொழுது, நீங்கள் என்னைப் பிடிக்கவில்லையே.

55.  In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.
