• numbers 13:1 - And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
• numbers 13:32 - And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.
• numbers 14:7 - And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land.
• numbers 14:15 - Now if thou shalt kill all this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak, saying,
• numbers 14:17 - And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my Lord be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying,
• numbers 14:26 - And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
• numbers 14:39 - And Moses told these sayings unto all the children of Israel: and the people mourned greatly.
• numbers 14:40 - And they rose up early in the morning, and gat them up into the top of the mountain, saying, Lo, we be here, and will go up unto the place which the LORD hath promised: for we have sinned.

• joshua 2:2 - And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the country.
• joshua 2:3 - And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country.
• joshua 3:3 - And they commanded the people, saying, When ye see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go after it.
• joshua 3:6 - And joshua spake unto the priests, saying, Take up the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people. And they took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people.
• joshua 3:8 - And thou shalt command the priests that bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When ye are come to the brink of the water of Jordan, ye shall stand still in Jordan.
• joshua 4:1 - And it came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over Jordan, that the LORD spake unto joshua, saying,
• joshua 4:3 - And command ye them, saying, Take you hence out of the midst of Jordan, out of the place where the priests' feet stood firm, twelve stones, and ye shall carry them over with you, and leave them in the lodging place, where ye shall lodge this night.
• joshua 4:6 - That this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones?
• joshua 4:15 - And the LORD spake unto joshua, saying,
• joshua 4:17 - joshua therefore commanded the priests, saying, Come ye up out of Jordan.
• joshua 4:21 - And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones?
• joshua 4:22 - Then ye shall let your children know, saying, Israel came over this Jordan on dry land.
• joshua 6:10 - And joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout.
• joshua 6:26 - And joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.
• joshua 7:2 - And joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Bethaven, on the east of Bethel, and spake unto them, saying, Go up and view the country. And the men went up and viewed Ai.

• joshua 9:22 - And joshua called for them, and he spake unto them, saying, Wherefore have ye beguiled us, saying, We are very far from you; when ye dwell among us?
• joshua 10:3 - Wherefore Adonizedec king of Jerusalem, sent unto Hoham king of Hebron, and unto Piram king of Jarmuth, and unto Japhia king of Lachish, and unto Debir king of Eglon, saying,
• joshua 10:6 - And the men of Gibeon sent unto joshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Slack not thy hand from thy servants; come up to us quickly, and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the mountains are gathered together against us.
• joshua 10:17 - And it was told joshua, saying, The five kings are found hid in a cave at Makkedah.
• joshua 14:9 - And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children's for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God.
• joshua 17:4 - And they came near before Eleazar the priest, and before joshua the son of Nun, and before the princes, saying, The LORD commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our brethren. Therefore according to the commandment of the LORD he gave them an inheritance among the brethren of their father.
• joshua 17:14 - And the children of Joseph spake unto joshua, saying, Why hast thou given me but one lot and one portion to inherit, seeing I am a great people, forasmuch as the LORD hath blessed me hitherto?
• joshua 17:17 - And joshua spake unto the house of Joseph, even to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying, Thou art a great people, and hast great power: thou shalt not have one lot only:
• joshua 18:8 - And the men arose, and went away: and joshua charged them that went to describe the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and come again to me, that I may here cast lots for you before the LORD in Shiloh.
• joshua 20:1 - The LORD also spake unto joshua, saying,
• joshua 20:2 - Speak to the children of Israel, saying, Appoint out for you cities of refuge, whereof I spake unto you by the hand of Moses:
• joshua 21:2 - And they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle.
• joshua 22:8 - And he spake unto them, saying, Return with much riches unto your tents, and with very much cattle, with silver, and with gold, and with brass, and with iron, and with very much raiment: divide the spoil of your enemies with your brethren.

• judges 6:13 - And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
• judges 6:32 - Therefore on that day he called him Jerubbaal, saying, Let Baal plead against him, because he hath thrown down his altar.
• judges 7:2 - And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.
• judges 7:3 - Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand.
• judges 7:24 - And Gideon sent messengers throughout all mount Ephraim, saying, come down against the Midianites, and take before them the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan. Then all the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together, and took the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan.
• judges 8:9 - And he spake also unto the men of Penuel, saying, When I come again in peace, I will break down this tower.
• judges 8:15 - And he came unto the men of Succoth, and said, Behold Zebah and Zalmunna, with whom ye did upbraid me, saying, Are the hands of Zebah and Zalmunna now in thine hand, that we should give bread unto thy men that are weary?
• judges 9:1 - And Abimelech the son of Jerubbaal went to Shechem unto his mother's brethren, and communed with them, and with all the family of the house of his mother's father, saying,
• judges 9:31 - And he sent messengers unto Abimelech privily, saying, Behold, Gaal the son of Ebed and his brethren be come to Shechem; and, behold, they fortify the city against thee.
• judges 10:10 - And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, saying, We have sinned against thee, both because we have forsaken our God, and also served Baalim.
• judges 11:12 - And Jephthah sent messengers unto the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What hast thou to do with me, that thou art come against me to fight in my land?
• judges 11:17 - Then Israel sent messengers unto the king of Edom, saying, Let me, I pray thee, pass through thy land: but the king of Edom would not hearken thereto. And in like manner they sent unto the king of Moab: but he would not consent: and Israel abode in Kadesh.
• judges 13:6 - Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came unto me, and his countenance was like the countenance of an angel of God, very terrible: but I asked him not whence he was, neither told he me his name:
• judges 13:17 - And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, What is thy name, that when thy sayings come to pass we may do thee honor?
• judges 15:13 - And they spake unto him, saying, No; but we will bind thee fast, and deliver thee into their hand: but surely we will not kill thee. And they bound him with two new cords, and brought him up from the rock.
• judges 16:2 - And it was told the Gazites, saying, Samson is come hither. And they compassed him in, and laid wait for him all night in the gate of the city, and were quiet all the night, saying, In the morning, when it is day, we shall kill him.
• judges 16:18 - And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up this once, for he hath showed me all his heart. Then the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and brought money in their hand.
• judges 19:22 - Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.
• judges 20:8 - And all the people arose as one man, saying, We will not any of us go to his tent, neither will we any of us turn into his house.
• judges 20:12 - And the tribes of Israel sent men through all the tribe of Benjamin, saying, What wickedness is this that is done among you?
• judges 20:23 - (And the children of Israel went up and wept before the LORD until even, and asked counsel of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up again to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother? And the LORD said, Go up against him.)
• judges 20:28 - And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, stood before it in those days,) saying, Shall I yet again go out to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother, or shall I cease? And the LORD said, Go up; for to morrow I will deliver them into thine hand.
• judges 21:1 - Now the men of Israel had sworn in Mizpeh, saying, There shall not any of us give his daughter unto Benjamin to wife.
• judges 21:5 - And the children of Israel said, Who is there among all the tribes of Israel that came not up with the congregation unto the LORD? For they had made a great oath concerning him that came not up to the LORD to Mizpeh, saying, He shall surely be put to death.
• judges 21:10 - And the congregation sent thither twelve thousand men of the valiantest, and commanded them, saying, Go and smite the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead with the edge of the sword, with the women and the children.
• judges 21:18 - Howbeit we may not give them wives of our daughters: for the children of Israel have sworn, saying, Cursed be he that giveth a wife to Benjamin.
• judges 21:20 - Therefore they commanded the children of Benjamin, saying, Go and lie in wait in the vineyards;

• 1kings 2:23 - Then king Solomon sware by the LORD, saying, God do so to me, and more also, if Adonijah have not spoken this word against his own life.
• 1kings 2:29 - And it was told king Solomon that Joab was fled unto the tabernacle of the LORD; and, behold, he is by the altar. Then Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, saying, Go, fall upon him.
• 1kings 2:30 - And Benaiah came to the tabernacle of the LORD, and said unto him, Thus saith the king, Come forth. And he said, Nay; but I will die here. And Benaiah brought the king word again, saying, Thus said Joab, and thus he answered me.

• 1kings 12:14 - And spake to them after the counsel of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, and I will add to your yoke: my father also chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.
• 1kings 12:15 - Wherefore the king hearkened not unto the people; for the cause was from the LORD, that he might perform his saying, which the LORD spake by Ahijah the Shilonite unto Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
• 1kings 12:16 - So when all Israel saw that the king hearkened not unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: to your tents, O Israel: now see to thine own house, David. So Israel departed unto their tents.
• 1kings 12:22 - But the word of God came unto Shemaiah the man of God, saying,
• 1kings 12:23 - Speak unto Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and unto all the house of Judah and Benjamin, and to the remnant of the people, saying,

And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.

• 1kings 13:18 - He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.

• 2kings 5:8 - And it was so, when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.
• 2kings 5:10 - And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.
• 2kings 5:14 - Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.
• 2kings 5:22 - And he said, All is well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments.

• 2kings 7:10 - So they came and called unto the porter of the city: and they told them, saying, We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, neither voice of man, but horses tied, and asses tied, and the tents as they were.
• 2kings 7:12 - And the king arose in the night, and said unto his servants, I will now show you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we be hungry; therefore are they gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the city.
• 2kings 7:14 - They took therefore two chariot horses; and the king sent after the host of the Syrians, saying, Go and see.
• 2kings 7:18 - And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be to morrow about this time in the gate of Samaria:
• 2kings 8:1 - Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the LORD hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.
• 2kings 8:2 - And the woman arose, and did after the saying of the man of God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the Philistines seven years.
• 2kings 8:4 - And the king talked with Gehazi the servant of the man of God, saying, Tell me, I pray thee, all the great things that Elisha hath done.
• 2kings 8:6 - And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.
• 2kings 8:7 - And Elisha came to Damascus; and Benhadad the king of Syria was sick; and it was told him, saying, The man of God is come hither.
• 2kings 8:8 - And the king said unto Hazael, Take a present in thine hand, and go, meet the man of God, and enquire of the LORD by him, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?
• 2kings 8:9 - So Hazael went to meet him, and took a present with him, even of every good thing of Damascus, forty camels' burden, and came and stood before him, and said, Thy son Benhadad king of Syria hath sent me to thee, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?
• 2kings 9:12 - And they said, It is false; tell us now. And he said, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel.
• 2kings 9:13 - Then they hasted, and took every man his garment, and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew with trumpets, saying, Jehu is king.
• 2kings 9:18 - So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again.
• 2kings 9:20 - And the watchman told, saying, He came even unto them, and cometh not again: and the driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi; for he driveth furiously.
• 2kings 9:36 - Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This is the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel:
• 2kings 10:1 - And Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. And Jehu wrote letters, and sent to Samaria, unto the rulers of Jezreel, to the elders, and to them that brought up Ahab's children, saying,
• 2kings 10:5 - And he that was over the house, and he that was over the city, the elders also, and the bringers up of the children, sent to Jehu, saying, We are thy servants, and will do all that thou shalt bid us; we will not make any king: do thou that which is good in thine eyes.
• 2kings 10:6 - Then he wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, If ye be mine, and if ye will hearken unto my voice, take ye the heads of the men your master's sons, and come to me to Jezreel by to morrow this time. Now the king's sons, being seventy persons, were with the great men of the city, which brought them up.
• 2kings 10:8 - And there came a messenger, and told him, saying, They have brought the heads of the king's sons. And he said, Lay ye them in two heaps at the entering in of the gate until the morning.
• 2kings 10:17 - And when he came to Samaria, he slew all that remained unto Ahab in Samaria, till he had destroyed him, according to the saying of the LORD, which he spake to Elijah.
• 2kings 11:5 - And he commanded them, saying, This is the thing that ye shall do; A third part of you that enter in on the sabbath shall even be keepers of the watch of the king's house;
• 2kings 14:6 - But the children of the murderers he slew not: according unto that which is written in the book of the law of Moses, wherein the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, nor the children be put to death for the fathers; but every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
• 2kings 14:8 - Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash, the son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us look one another in the face.
• 2kings 14:9 - And Jehoash the king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle that was in Lebanon sent to the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that was in Lebanon, and trode down the thistle.
• 2kings 15:12 - This was the word of the LORD which he spake unto Jehu, saying, Thy sons shall sit on the throne of Israel unto the fourth generation. And so it came to pass.
• 2kings 16:7 - So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, saying, I am thy servant and thy son: come up, and save me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, which rise up against me.
• 2kings 16:15 - And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, and the evening meat offering, and the king's burnt sacrifice, and his meat offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice: and the brazen altar shall be for me to enquire by.
• 2kings 17:13 - Yet the LORD testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the prophets, and by all the seers, saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets.
• 2kings 17:26 - Wherefore they spake to the king of Assyria, saying, The nations which thou hast removed, and placed in the cities of Samaria, know not the manner of the God of the land: therefore he hath sent lions among them, and, behold, they slay them, because they know not the manner of the God of the land.
• 2kings 17:27 - Then the king of Assyria commanded, saying, Carry thither one of the priests whom ye brought from thence; and let them go and dwell there, and let him teach them the manner of the God of the land.
• 2kings 17:35 - With whom the LORD had made a covenant, and charged them, saying, Ye shall not fear other gods, nor bow yourselves to them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them:
• 2kings 18:14 - And Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria to Lachish, saying, I have offended; return from me: that which thou puttest on me will I bear. And the king of Assyria appointed unto Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.
• 2kings 18:28 - Then Rabshakeh stood and cried with a loud voice in the Jews' language, and spake, saying, Hear the word of the great king, the king of Assyria:
• 2kings 18:30 - Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.
• 2kings 18:32 - Until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of oil olive and of honey, that ye may live, and not die: and hearken not unto Hezekiah, when he persuadeth you, saying, The LORD will deliver us.

• jeremiah 27:1 - In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
• jeremiah 27:9 - Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:
• jeremiah 27:12 - I spake also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.

• jeremiah 34:1 - The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his dominion, and all the people, fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities thereof, saying,
• jeremiah 34:5 - But thou shalt die in peace: and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee, so shall they burn odours for thee; and they will lament thee, saying, Ah lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the LORD.

• jeremiah 35:12 - Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,
• jeremiah 35:15 - I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.
• jeremiah 36:1 - And it came to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that this word came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
• jeremiah 36:5 - And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, I am shut up; I cannot go into the house of the LORD:
• jeremiah 36:14 - Therefore all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in thine hand the roll wherein thou hast read in the ears of the people, and come. So Baruch the son of Neriah took the roll in his hand, and came unto them.
• jeremiah 36:17 - And they asked Baruch, saying, Tell us now, How didst thou write all these words at his mouth?
• jeremiah 36:27 - Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, after that the king had burned the roll, and the words which Baruch wrote at the mouth of Jeremiah, saying,
• jeremiah 36:29 - And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast?
• jeremiah 37:3 - And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest to the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Pray now unto the LORD our God for us.
• jeremiah 37:6 - Then came the word of the LORD unto the prophet Jeremiah saying,
• jeremiah 37:9 - Thus saith the LORD; Deceive not yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us: for they shall not depart.
• jeremiah 37:13 - And when he was in the gate of Benjamin, a captain of the ward was there, whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he took Jeremiah the prophet, saying, Thou fallest away to the Chaldeans.
• jeremiah 37:19 - Where are now your prophets which prophesied unto you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, nor against this land?

• jeremiah 38:8 - Ebedmelech went forth out of the king's house, and spake to the king saying,
• jeremiah 38:10 - Then the king commanded Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, Take from hence thirty men with thee, and take up Jeremiah the prophet out of the dungeon, before he die.
• jeremiah 38:16 - So Zedekiah the king sware secretly unto Jeremiah, saying, As the LORD liveth, that made us this soul, I will not put thee to death, neither will I give thee into the hand of these men that seek thy life.
• jeremiah 39:11 - Now Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon gave charge concerning Jeremiah to Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, saying,
• jeremiah 39:15 - Now the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, while he was shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
• jeremiah 39:16 - Go and speak to Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring my words upon this city for evil, and not for good; and they shall be accomplished in that day before thee.
• jeremiah 40:9 - And Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan sware unto them and to their men, saying, Fear not to serve the Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.

• jeremiah 42:14 - Saying, No; but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell:

• luke 7:4 - And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this:
• luke 7:6 - Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof:
• luke 7:16 - And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.
• luke 7:19 - And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
• luke 7:20 - When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
• luke 7:32 - They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.
• luke 7:39 - Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
• luke 8:9 - And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?
• luke 8:24 - And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.
• luke 8:25 - And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.
• luke 8:30 - And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.
• luke 8:38 - Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying,
• luke 8:49 - While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.
• luke 8:50 - But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
• luke 8:54 - And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.
• luke 9:18 - And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I am?
• luke 9:22 - Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.
• luke 9:28 - And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.
• luke 9:35 - And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.
• luke 9:38 - And, behold, a man of the company cried out, saying, Master, I beseech thee, look upon my son: for he is mine only child.
• luke 9:44 - Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men.
• luke 9:45 - But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying.
• luke 10:17 - And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
• luke 10:25 - And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
• luke 11:45 - Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying thou reproachest us also.
• luke 12:16 - And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
• luke 12:17 - And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
• luke 13:25 - When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
• luke 13:31 - The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.
• luke 14:3 - And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day?
• luke 14:5 - And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day?
• luke 14:7 - And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them.
• luke 14:30 - Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
• luke 15:2 - And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
• luke 15:3 - And he spake this parable unto them, saying,
• luke 15:6 - And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
• luke 15:9 - And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.
• luke 17:4 - And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
• luke 18:2 - Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
• luke 18:3 - And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
• luke 18:13 - And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
• luke 18:18 - And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
• luke 18:34 - And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.
• luke 18:38 - And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.
• luke 18:41 - Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.
• luke 19:7 - And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.
• luke 19:14 - But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.
• luke 19:16 - Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.
• luke 19:18 - And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.
• luke 19:20 - And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:
• luke 19:30 - Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.
• luke 19:38 - Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
• luke 19:42 - Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
• luke 19:46 - Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
• luke 20:2 - And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?
• luke 20:5 - And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not?
• luke 20:14 - But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.
• luke 20:21 - And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly:
• luke 20:28 - Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man's brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
• luke 21:7 - And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
• luke 21:8 - And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
• luke 22:8 - And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.
• luke 22:19 - And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
• luke 22:20 - Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
• luke 22:42 - Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
• luke 22:57 - And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.
• luke 22:59 - And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilaean.
• luke 22:64 - And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?
• luke 22:66 - And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,
• luke 23:2 - And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.
• luke 23:3 - And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it.
• luke 23:5 - And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.
• luke 23:18 - And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas:
• luke 23:21 - But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him.
• luke 23:35 - And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.
• luke 23:37 - And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.
• luke 23:39 - And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
• luke 23:40 - But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
• luke 23:47 - Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.
• luke 24:7 - Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
• luke 24:23 - And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.
• luke 24:29 - But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
• luke 24:34 - Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.
• john 1:15 - john bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
• john 1:26 - john answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;

• john 4:51 - And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth.
• john 6:52 - The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
• john 6:60 - Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
• john 7:15 - And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?
• john 7:28 - Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.
• john 7:36 - What manner of saying is this that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come?
• john 7:37 - In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
• john 7:40 - Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.
• john 8:12 - Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
• john 8:51 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
• john 8:52 - Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.
• john 8:55 - Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
• john 9:2 - And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
• john 9:19 - And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? how then doth he now see?
• john 10:19 - There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.
• john 10:33 - The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
• john 11:3 - Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.
• john 11:28 - And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee.
• john 11:31 - The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there.
• john 11:32 - Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
• john 12:21 - The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.
• john 12:23 - And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.
• john 12:28 - Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
• john 12:38 - That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?
• john 14:24 - He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
• john 15:20 - Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
• john 18:9 - That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.
• john 18:22 - And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so?
• john 18:32 - That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die.
• john 18:40 - Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.
• john 19:6 - When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.
• john 19:8 - When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid;
• john 19:12 - And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar.
• john 19:13 - When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.
• john 21:23 - Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?

• acts 7:27 - But he that did his neighbour wrong thrust him away, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us?
• acts 7:29 - Then fled Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begat two sons.
• acts 7:32 - Saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.
• acts 7:35 - This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.
• acts 7:40 - Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

• acts 11:4 - But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,
• acts 11:7 - And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.
• acts 11:18 - When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
• acts 12:7 - And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.
• acts 12:22 - And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man.
• acts 13:15 - And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.
• acts 13:47 - For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
• acts 14:11 - And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.
• acts 14:15 - And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:
• acts 14:18 - And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them.
• acts 15:5 - But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.
• acts 15:13 - And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me:
• acts 15:24 - Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
• acts 16:9 - And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.
• acts 16:15 - And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us.
• acts 16:16 - And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:
• acts 16:17 - The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.
• acts 16:20 - And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city,
• acts 16:28 - But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.
• acts 16:35 - And when it was day, the magistrates sent the serjeants, saying, Let those men go.
• acts 16:36 - And the keeper of the prison told this saying to Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in peace.
• acts 17:7 - Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, one Jesus.
• acts 17:19 - And they took him, and brought him unto Areopagus, saying, May we know what this new doctrine, whereof thou speakest, is?
• acts 18:13 - Saying, This fellow persuadeth men to worship God contrary to the law.
• acts 18:21 - But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.
• acts 19:4 - Then said Paul, john verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
• acts 19:13 - Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the LORD Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
• acts 19:21 - After these things were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome.
• acts 19:26 - Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:
• acts 19:28 - And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.
• acts 20:23 - Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.
• acts 21:14 - And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.
• acts 21:21 - And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.
• acts 21:40 - And when he had given him licence, Paul stood on the stairs, and beckoned with the hand unto the people. And when there was made a great silence, he spake unto them in the Hebrew tongue, saying,
• acts 22:7 - And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
• acts 22:18 - And saw him saying unto me, Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me.
• acts 22:26 - When the centurion heard that, he went and told the chief captain, saying, Take heed what thou doest: for this man is a Roman.
• acts 23:9 - And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.
• acts 23:12 - And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.
• acts 23:23 - And he called unto him two centurions, saying, Make ready two hundred soldiers to go to Caesarea, and horsemen threescore and ten, and spearmen two hundred, at the third hour of the night;
• acts 24:2 - And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,
• acts 24:9 - And the Jews also assented, saying that these things were so.
• acts 25:14 - And when they had been there many days, Festus declared Paul's cause unto the king, saying, There is a certain man left in bonds by Felix:
• acts 26:14 - And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

• revelation 18:10 - Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
• revelation 18:16 - And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
• revelation 18:18 - And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
• revelation 18:19 - And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
• revelation 18:21 - And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
• revelation 19:1 - And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
• revelation 19:4 - And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.
• revelation 19:5 - And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
• revelation 19:6 - And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
• revelation 19:9 - And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
• revelation 19:17 - And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
• revelation 21:3 - And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
• revelation 21:9 - And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
• revelation 22:6 - And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
• revelation 22:7 - Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
• revelation 22:9 - Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
• revelation 22:10 - And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
