• 1chronicles 28:5 - And of all my sons, (for the LORD hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.
• 1chronicles 28:6 - And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.
• 1chronicles 28:9 - And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.
• 1chronicles 28:11 - Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of the houses thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper chambers thereof, and of the inner parlors thereof, and of the place of the mercy seat,
• 1chronicles 28:20 - And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.
• 1chronicles 29:1 - Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.
• 1chronicles 29:19 - And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.
• 1chronicles 29:22 - And did eat and drink before the LORD on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto the LORD to be the chief governor, and Zadok to be priest.
• 1chronicles 29:23 - Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.
• 1chronicles 29:24 - And all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise of king David, submitted themselves unto Solomon the king.
• 1chronicles 29:25 - And the LORD magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed upon him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.
• 1chronicles 29:28 - And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honor: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.
• 2chronicles 1:1 - And Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the LORD his God was with him, and magnified him exceedingly.
• 2chronicles 1:2 - Then Solomon spake unto all Israel, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and to the judges, and to every governor in all Israel, the chief of the fathers.
• 2chronicles 1:3 - So Solomon, and all the congregation with him, went to the high place that was at Gibeon; for there was the tabernacle of the congregation of God, which Moses the servant of the LORD had made in the wilderness.
• 2chronicles 1:5 - Moreover the brazen altar, that Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, he put before the tabernacle of the LORD: and Solomon and the congregation sought unto it.
• 2chronicles 1:6 - And Solomon went up thither to the brazen altar before the LORD, which was at the tabernacle of the congregation, and offered a thousand burnt offerings upon it.
• 2chronicles 1:7 - In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee.
• 2chronicles 1:8 - And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast showed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead.
• 2chronicles 1:11 - And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honor, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:
• 2chronicles 1:13 - Then Solomon came from his journey to the high place that was at Gibeon to Jerusalem, from before the tabernacle of the congregation, and reigned over Israel.
• 2chronicles 1:14 - And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, which he placed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.
• 2chronicles 1:16 - And Solomon had horses brought out of Egypt, and linen yarn: the king's merchants received the linen yarn at a price.
• 2chronicles 2:1 - And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the LORD, and an house for his kingdom.
• 2chronicles 2:2 - And Solomon told out threescore and ten thousand men to bear burdens, and fourscore thousand to hew in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred to oversee them.
• 2chronicles 2:3 - And Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, As thou didst deal with David my father, and didst send him cedars to build him an house to dwell therein, even so deal with me.
• 2chronicles 2:11 - Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, Because the LORD hath loved his people, he hath made thee king over them.
• 2chronicles 2:17 - And Solomon numbered all the strangers that were in the land of Israel, after the numbering wherewith David his father had numbered them; and they were found an hundred and fifty thousand and three thousand and six hundred.
• 2chronicles 3:1 - Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
• 2chronicles 3:3 - Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
• 2chronicles 4:11 - And Huram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basins. And Huram finished the work that he was to make for king Solomon for the house of God;
• 2chronicles 4:16 - The pots also, and the shovels, and the fleshhooks, and all their instruments, did Huram his father make to king Solomon for the house of the LORD of bright brass.
• 2chronicles 4:18 - Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out.
• 2chronicles 4:19 - And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon the shewbread was set;
• 2chronicles 5:1 - Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the LORD was finished: and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God.
• 2chronicles 5:2 - Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.
• 2chronicles 5:6 - Also king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel that were assembled unto him before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen, which could not be told nor numbered for multitude.
• 2chronicles 6:1 - Then said Solomon, The LORD hath said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.
• 2chronicles 6:13 - For Solomon had made a brazen scaffold of five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court: and upon it he stood, and kneeled down upon his knees before all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven.
• 2chronicles 7:1 - Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.
• 2chronicles 7:5 - And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep: so the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.
• 2chronicles 7:7 - Moreover Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the brazen altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt offerings, and the meat offerings, and the fat.
• 2chronicles 7:8 - Also at the same time Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt.
• 2chronicles 7:10 - And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away into their tents, glad and merry in heart for the goodness that the LORD had showed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people.
• 2chronicles 7:11 - Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king's house: and all that came into Solomon's heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.
• 2chronicles 7:12 - And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.
• 2chronicles 8:1 - And it came to pass at the end of twenty years, wherein Solomon had built the house of the LORD, and his own house,
• 2chronicles 8:2 - That the cities which Huram had restored to Solomon, Solomon built them, and caused the children of Israel to dwell there.
• 2chronicles 8:3 - And Solomon went to Hamathzobah, and prevailed against it.
• 2chronicles 8:6 - And Baalath, and all the store cities that Solomon had, and all the chariot cities, and the cities of the horsemen, and all that Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and throughout all the land of his dominion.
• 2chronicles 8:8 - But of their children, who were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel consumed not, them did Solomon make to pay tribute until this day.
• 2chronicles 8:9 - But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no servants for his work; but they were men of war, and chief of his captains, and captains of his chariots and horsemen.
• 2chronicles 8:10 - And these were the chief of king Solomon's officers, even two hundred and fifty, that bare rule over the people.
• 2chronicles 8:11 - And Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh out of the city of David unto the house that he had built for her: for he said, My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places are holy, whereunto the ark of the LORD hath come.
• 2chronicles 8:12 - Then Solomon offered burnt offerings unto the LORD on the altar of the LORD, which he had built before the porch,
• 2chronicles 8:16 - Now all the work of Solomon was prepared unto the day of the foundation of the house of the LORD, and until it was finished. So the house of the LORD was perfected.
• 2chronicles 8:17 - Then went Solomon to Eziongeber, and to Eloth, at the sea side in the land of Edom.
• 2chronicles 8:18 - And Huram sent him by the hands of his servants ships, and servants that had knowledge of the sea; and they went with the servants of Solomon to Ophir, and took thence four hundred and fifty talents of gold, and brought them to king Solomon.

• 2chronicles 9:20 - And all the drinking vessels of king Solomon were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold: none were of silver; it was not any thing accounted of in the days of Solomon.

• 2chronicles 9:23 - And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, that God had put in his heart.
