8.  எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, நீர் அவர்களுக்கு உத்தரவு அருளினீர்; நீர் அவர்கள் கிரியைகளினிமித்தம் நீதி சரிக்கட்டினபோதிலும், அவர்களுக்கு, மன்னிக்கிற தேவனாயிருந்தீர்.

8.  Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.
