9.  ஆகாரமில்லாதவனாயிருந்தும், தன்னைத்தான் கனம்பண்ணிக்கொள்ளுகிறவனைப்பார்க்கிலும், கனமற்றவனாயிருந்தும் பணிவிடைக்காரனுள்ளவன் உத்தமன்.

9.  He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread.
