18.  நீ ஜனங்களை நோக்கி: நாளைக்காக உங்களைப் பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணுங்கள்; நீங்கள் இறைச்சி சாப்பிடுவீர்கள்; எங்களுக்கு இறைச்சி சாப்பிடக் கொடுப்பவர் யார் என்றும், எகிப்திலே எங்களுக்குச் செளக்கியமாயிருந்தது என்றும், கர்த்தருடைய செவிகள் கேட்க அழுதீர்களே; ஆகையால், நீங்கள் சாப்பிடும்படி கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்கு இறைச்சி கொடுப்பார்.

18.  And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will give you flesh, and ye shall eat.
