24.  அப்படியே பிள்ளைகள் உட்பிரவேசித்து, தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொண்டார்கள்; நீர் அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் தேசத்தின் குடிகளாகிய கானானியரைத் தாழ்த்தி, அவர்களையும் அவர்கள் ராஜாக்களையும், தேசத்தின் ஜனங்களையும், தங்கள் இஷ்டப்படி செய்ய, அவர்கள் கையிலே ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தீர்.

24.  So the children went in and possessed the land, and thou subduedst before them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and gavest them into their hands, with their kings, and the people of the land, that they might do with them as they would.
