23.  ஆகையால் அந்தச் சீஷன் மரிப்பதில்லை என்கிற பேச்சு சகோதரருக்குள்ளே பரம்பிற்று. ஆனாலும், அவன் மரிப்பதில்லையென்று இயேசு சொல்லாமல், நான் வருமளவுமύ இவனிருக்க எனக்குச் சித்தமޠΩால் உனக்கென்னவென்று சொன்னார்.

23.  Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?
