3.  மாட்டை வெட்டுகிறவன் மனுஷனைக் கொல்லுகிறவனாகவும், ஆட்டைப் பலியிடுகிறவன் நாயைக் கழுத்தறுக்கிறவனாகவும், காணிக்கையைப் படைக்கிறவன் பன்றி இரத்தத்தைப் படைக்கிறவனாகவும், தூபங்காட்டுகிறவன் விக்கிரகத்தை ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கிறவனாகவும் இருக்கிறான். இவர்கள் தங்கள் வழிகளையே தெரிந்துகொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; இவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமா தங்கள் அருவருப்புகளின்மேல் விருப்பமாயிருக்கிறது.

3.  He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
