1.  பிள்ளைபெறாத மலடியே, மகிழ்ந்துபாடு; கர்ப்பவேதனைப்படாதவளே, கெம்பீரமாய்ப் பாடி ஆனந்தசத்தமிடு; வாழ்க்கைப்பட்டவளுடைய பிள்ளைகளைப் பார்க்கிலும், அநாத ஸ்திரீயினுடைய பிள்ளைகள் அதிகம் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

1.  Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
