17.  அதில் மீதியான துண்டைத் தனக்கு விக்கிரகதெய்வமாகச் செய்து, அதற்குமுன் விழுந்து, அதை வணங்கி; நீ என் தெய்வம், என்னை இரட்சிக்க வேண்டும் என்று அதை நோக்கி மன்றாடுகிறான்.

17.  And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.
