16.  அவர் ஸ்திரீயை நோக்கி: நீ கர்ப்பவதியாயிருக்கும்போது உன் வேதனையை மிகவும் பெருகப்பண்ணுவேன்; வேதனையோடே பிள்ளை பெறுவாய்; உன் ஆசை உன் புருஷனைப் பற்றியிருக்கும், அவன் உன்னை ஆண்டு கொள்ளுவான் என்றார்.

16.  Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
